Nicholas Masters, '98 was one of eight finalists in the Metropolitan Opera's National Council Grand Finals Concert on Sunday, March 13, 2011, at the Metropolitan Opera in Manhattan. In order to participate in the final round, Nicholas prevailed from a starting pool of approximately 2500 hopefuls across the U.S. and Canada through district and regional competitions.
Nicholas went to the New Canaan public high school and then McGill University (Canada) for undergraduate work. Following a Master's Degree from Yale University School of Music, Nicholas attended the prestigious Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia.
